The newly introduced digitalisation system includes features that allow devotees to donate, register for religious ceremonies and check temple events conveniently, either online from their homes or via kiosk at the temples.
“Tonight, we witness another step forward by the Penang Hindu Endowments Board with the launch of the digitalisation system and kiosk that will bring temple management to a more modern and systematic level”.
As part of his visit, YB Gobind also announced on RM20,000 allocation to the temple to further strengthen it’s digital infrastructure. He emphasized that such advancements are essential to maintain public trust in temple management and align with broader vision of the Malaysia MADANI concept, which seeks to blend technological progress with cultural heritage.
“It’s important how we adapt technological advancement to enrich and conserve our cultural heritage in line with the Malaysian MADANI concept”, he said and hoped all Hindu temples in Malaysia would use the digitalisation systems.
