The prestigious Miss MalaysiaIndian Global (MMIGLOBAL) is back for its 26th edition and now calling for entries! As one of Malaysia’s longest-running and most impactful personal development platforms for young Indian women, the programme is inviting Malaysian girls of Indian or mixed Indian heritage to be part of an empowering journey like no other.
Organised by the MMICARE Association, MMIGLOBAL is not just a pageant, its a 26 year old legacy of inner growth, leadership, and social impact. Founded by Pushparani Thilaganathan in 2000, the programme blends purpose with pageantry, offering a holistic developmental experience anchored in volunteerism, soft skills training, and cultural pride
Melissa Anne Willy Boy, CFO of Miss MalaysiaIndian Global 2025, and a former finalist said, “It’s an amazing journey of purpose and transformation. Ask any of our past participants, and they will tell you it was magical. We are now inviting Malaysian girls of Indian or mixed Indian heritage to be part of this journey of friendship and sisterhood. As long as you are between 20 and 30 years of age, single and with at least one grandparent who is of Indian descent, you should take part. Don’t wait for tomorrow, and don’t miss out on this opportunity today,”
A Stage for Growth, Sisterhood and Culture
MMIGLOBAL is built on the values of H.E.R, Heritage, Elegance, and Resilience, which will be showcased at this year’s Grand Finals Hi-Tea on 28th September 2025, held at Premiere Hotel, Klang. Fourteen finalist will take the stage in two signature segments, Heritage and Elegance (Evening Wear), in celebration of identity, culture, and personal excellence.
But beyond the glitz, the programme tests resilience, teamwork, and leadership through elimination-style challenges and curated workshops designed to unlock each finalist’s full potential.

More Than a Pageant: A Platform for Impact
Since 2005, MMIGLOBAL has served as a fundraiser for MMICARE Association’s Small Education and Meals Scholarships, supporting B40 students in public universities and polytechnics. To date, over RM500,000 has been disbursed to ensure that deserving students receive monthly meal support and educational assistance.
“Each scholarship is Rm3,600 a year. This donation will help a student have a nutritious meal a day. Our primary aim is to assist our b40 student community in Kapar and Meru whom we have handheld since 2017. Since 2022 we have sent 14 students to university and Polytech,” said Melissa Anne.
The organisers are now inviting individual donors and sponsors to support this cause. Sponsorship packages for MMIGLOBAL 2025 starts at RM5,000, with the opportunity to be part of an initiative that merges personal transformation with community upliftment.
A Legacy of Empowered Women
MMICARE Association, run by former MMIGLOBAL finalist and winners, is a 24-year-old registered women’s volunteer organisation dedicated to meaningful social impact. Its mission is to develop women leaders rooted in cultural identity and committed to serving wider community.
