The stage of Bintang Minnal 2025 lit up with passion, tradition, and musical excellence as young voices from across Malaysia came together to showcase their talent. Organized by Minnalfm, the long-standing competition once again proved itself as an iconic platform for nurturing fresh singing talent despite the ever-changing entertainment landscape.
For the first time, auditions were held across five states, expanding the reach of the competition. Enthusiastic contestant gathered at:
RTM Negeri Sembilan (17th May), RTM Pulau Pinang (24th May), RTM Perak (31st May), RTM Pahang (14th June), and GM Mall Klang (21st June).
In addition to physical auditions, Minnalfm also embraced the digital era by opening entries through social media, giving wider access for aspiring singers. From these auditions, ten promising contestants were shortlisted by an experienced panel of judges. Following the semi-finals on 2nd August, six finalist advanced to the highly anticipated grand finale.
A Night of Triumph at Angkasapuri
The final showdown was held on 6th September at the Angkasapuri Auditorium Seri Angkasa, where the young talents delivered electrifying performances that captivated both judges and audience members.
- Champion: Abishekappriyan Sarawanan, who walked away with RM10,000, a winner’s trophy and a certificate
- Second Place: Unnitheivan Bhaskaran, who walked away with RM 7,000, a trophy, and a certificate
- Third Place: Thesyalan Sean Pillai, awarded RM5,000, a trophy and a certificate.
- Judges Special Award: Navina Pugalenthi, who received RM3,000, a trophy and a certificate.
Consolation prizes were presented to Kanmani Kanesan and Aaron Thomas for their commendable performance.
