Several major roads around Merdeka Stadium will be closed from 2pm on 27 September 2025 to facilitate the Sultan of Selangor Cup match between Selangor and Singapore.
The affected roads are:
Jalan Maharajalela (Merdeka Roundabout)
Jalan Hang Tuah (entry to Jalan Hang Jebat)
Jalan Hang Jebat
Jalan Stadium
Jalan Merdeka
Kuala Lumpur police deputy chief Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said 115 officers and personnel from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) will be deployed to ensure smooth traffic management and the safety of supporters.
He advised motorists to plan their journeys ahead, obey police instructions on-site, and make use of public transport to avoid heavy congestion in the area.
