Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow announced that a new piece of land been allocated for Rajaji Tamil School in Penang. He also assured that the new Rajaji Tamil School will be built using modern infrastructure and facilities.
Chow explained that the school, which was previously located on temple land, will now be fully relocated to its own property. He added that discussions have been held with the school management board and adminisitration regarding this relocation.

He further stated that the land has been officially handed over to the school management board with the support of Penang state government. The state Education Department will oversee the construction of the new building for Rajaji Tamil School.
Chow Kon Yeow also expressed confidence that the new building will begin construction in January 2026. He emphasized that the school administration does not need to seek funds from any external parties, as the state givernemnt will fully bear the costs of both the land and the new building construction.
