The Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA) has announced that the application period for the Dharma Madani 2025 programme has been extended until 19 November 2025. The application window, which opens on 5 November at 6pm, will be accessible through MITRA’s official website and Facebook page. Initially, the deadline was set for 3 November 2025, but the extension aims to give more time for eligible applicants to complete their submissions.
The Dharma Madani 2025 initiative is part of the Malaysian government’s ongoing efforts to empower and support the Hindu community. The programme offers a one-off grant of RM20,000 to 1,000 Hindu temples nationwide, recognising their role as vital community and cultural centres.

Through this initiative, MITRA aims to assist temples in enhancing their facilities, maintaining operations, and sustaining cultural activities that strengthen community bonds.
MITRA encourages all eligible temple committees and religious organisations to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications before the deadline.
For more details on the application process and eligibility criteria, applicants are advised to visit MITRA’s official website or follow MITRA’s social media platforms for the latest updates and announcements.
