The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has launched the Education Sustainability Campaign (Kempen Lestari Pendidikan) to assist borrowers with arrears in restructuring their loans according to their financial capabilities.
The campaign, which runs until 15 December 2025, is open to all conventional borrowers with outstanding balances of RM500 and above.
Under the initiative, borrowers are required to make an advance payment of 20 per cent of the arrears amount or a minimum of RM500, whichever is higher, and subsequently apply for a repayment negotiation through the myPTPTN web application.

Through this process, borrowers can restructure their loans, convert to the Ujrah scheme, or consolidate multiple loans during the campaign period. This enables them to reorganise their repayment schedule based on their current financial situation.
PTPTN said that the Education Sustainability Campaign is part of its #PTPTNBolehBincang initiative, which aims to provide flexibility and financial relief for borrowers while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the fund for future students.
