The President of the Malaysia Council of Hindu Temples and Hindu Associations (MAHIMA), Dato N. Sivakumar, announced the launch of a new digital platform called the Temple Management System. MAHIMA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GRASP Software Solutions Sdn Bhd to implement this initiative.
As the world evolves rapidly with technological advancements, Dato Sivakumar emphasized that this digital platform is designed to help manage the administration of Hindu temples across Malaysia efficiently and systematically.

With the new system, temple management will be able to maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and other financial reports in an organized manner. Dato Sivakumar stated that this system will promote financial transparency, professionalism, and accountability in administrative operations, ultimately protecting temples from future financial and legal issues.
To ensure the smooth operation of this digital platform, temple management will be required to pay a monthly service fee. This collaboration is considered a pioneering step in Malaysia, marking the first digital transformation effort involving temple administrations nationwide.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that this initiative will enhance transparency, integrity, and progress within the community, he added.
