Malaysia’s S. Yashvindra to Represent Nation at FIH Junior World Cup in Chennai

S. Yashvindra, has carved a proud moment after officially qualifying for the National Hockey Team set to compete in the Men’s International Hockey Federation (FIH) Junior World Cup 2025. The prestigious tournament will be held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, from November 28 to December 10 this year.

Yashvindra, known for his sharp skills and strong on-field presence, made his mark representing Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) under the formidable Thunder hockey team. His exceptional performance, discipline, and consistency on the field have now opened the door for him to participate in one of the biggest stages in junior international hockey.

The upcoming Junior World Cup will see 24 countries competing, making it one of the most anticipated events in the global hockey calendar. With the world watching, Yashvindra’s inclusion in the squad highlights not only his personal achievement but also Malaysia’s growing potential in junior hockey development.

Malaysia cheers him on as he embarks on this remarkable journey—carrying hopes, pride, and the spirit of the nation to the world stage.
