Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam (SSDI) is a welfare organization based in Rawang, established in 1998. It is recognized for its education-focused approach aimed at underprivileged girls. Over the past 27 years, this organization has supported and nurtured more than 500 children, offering them structured schooling, vocational training, and holistic development programs.

The association is launching a fundraising campaign to purchase a residential property that currently serves as the hub of its daily operations. This house, which provides a safe space for 54 girls, includes a main kitchen, a baking school, a training area, and an activity space. The property is now being sold as the owner plans to migrate overseas. The owner has offered it at a reduced price of RM800,000 in recognition of the organization’s welfare work.

This particular unit plays a crucial role in the home’s routine as it is used for daily meal preparation and for conducting planned classes for the 54 girls. Apart from that, important programmes including yoga, Bharatanatyam, Silambam and leadership workshops also take place at the premise.

How You Can Contribute

Now the association is seeking support from the public, organizations, and well-wishers for this fundraising effort. Donations can be made to:
