Grand Opening of New Swami Hall and Thirupugazh Book Launch Set for Jan 17 at Batu Caves

Sri Maha Devasthanam Kuala Lumpur President, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. R. Nadarajah has announced that the newly built Swami Hall at Batu Caves is set to be officially opened as part of the upcoming temple celebrations.

This inauguration will be held in conjunction with the National Ponggal Celebration on January 17 at Batu Caves. During the ceremony, the newly built Swami Hall within the temple premises will be formally declared open to devotees.

A key highlight of the programme will be the release of Thirupugazh book, featuring devotional hymns associated with Arunagirinathar. The first copy of the book will be presented to Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, member of Parliament and Deputy President of MIC.

Dato Sivakumar is expected to deliver congratulatory speech during the event. The temple management invited devotees and public to attend the programme and participate in the spiritual celebrations.
