Rising music composer Sai Abhyankkar has unveiled the promo for his fifth independent single. Pavazha Malli, marking an exciting new collaboration with Shruti Haasan, who has lent her voice to the track. The full song is set to be released on 5th March 2026 at 7PM and early glimpses suggest a celebratory, wedding-themed number.
Adding to the intrigue, the song is likely to feature actor Kayadu Lohar, known for her role in Dragon. Although the promo offers only a fleeting visual of the female lead, the frame closely resembles Kayadu, sparking curiosity among fans.
Pavazha Malli continues Sai Abhyankkar’s steady rise in the independent music space. He first made waves with Katchi Sera (2024), followed by Aasa Kooda (2024), which became a viral hit across music streaming platforms and Instagram reels. His subsequent singles, Sithiri Puthiri (2025) and Vizhi Veekura (2025), further cemented his reputation for crafting melodies that blend contemporary sensibilities with strong visual storytelling.
Parallel to his indie success, Sai has also been making significant strides in cinema. He made his film debut with Dude and Balti last year. The song Oorum Blood from Dude emerged as a breakout success, crossing over 100 million views on YouTube and establishing him as a composer.
Looking ahead, the young musician has an impressive state of high-profile projects lined up. These included Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly, Karuppu, headlined by Suriya and directed by RJ Balaji, and AA22xA6, featuring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. He is also composing for Marshal, starring Karthi Sivakumar, and has recently joined Dhanuhs’s D55, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
