Arjun Ram Prekash, a student from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Bandar Mahkota Cheras, has proudly represented Malaysia at the Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest (HKISIIC) 2026. The prestigious event took place on March 14, 2026, at Chu Hai College in Hong Kong, attracting young innovators from various countries around the globe.

Among a diverse group of participants, Arjun stood out with his impressive invention, the PLASTOSCOPE, a DIY microscope that showcases his innovative spirit and dedication to science. His project not only captivated the judges but also earned him several prestigious awards. Arjun’s achievements at the contest include:
- The Thailand International Special Award with Gold Medal
- A Bronze Medal
- A cash prize of HKD $400
- The Teacher Appreciation Award
His supervisor, Teacher Vijay, expressed his immense pride on social media, highlighting the significance of Arjun’s accomplishment. He stated that nothing is more meaningful than seeing students achieve internationally with their ideas. Arjun’s success is a testament to his hard work, creativity, and determination.
