In a remarkable achievement for our community, Nehaa A/P Shankar has secured the title of first runner-up (Senior Primary) at the 2026 Asia International Mathematical Olympiad. This prestigious competition, organized by the Asian Gifted Education Association, took place online on February 7, 2026, with the announcement of winners made on March 20, 2026 in their official website.
Nehaa from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Saraswathy in Kedah, competed in the Senior Primary Category. The school’s management expressed their pride in Nehaa’s accomplishment by sharing a congratulatory post on social media, celebrating her success amid rigorous competition.

The Asian Gifted Education Association plays a pivotal role in promoting exceptional education in the sciences and arts among students across Asia. Their competitions are aligned with esteemed international academic standards, including Singapore’s GCE A-Level, Hong Kong’s HKDSE, the UK’s A-Level, and the US AP curriculum. Winners receive certificates that are recognized globally, providing essential credentials for students aspiring to apply to top-tier universities.
