Sime Darby Property Berhad continues to strengthen its industrial footprint in the Northern Klang Valley with the launch of Elmina Business Park 2, following the strong success of its flagship Elmina Business Park. The newly introduced development, located just 2km north of its predecessor, marks the Group’s strategic expansion into Rawang and has already recorded an encouraging estimated take-up rate of 70% for its maiden Phases 1A and 1B.
Spanning approximately 600 acres with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.72 billion, Elmina Business Park 2 offers a mix of industrial land lots and ready-built semi-detached factories. The development includes 72 units with land sizes ranging from 2 to 4 acres, catering to businesses seeking built-to-suit and built-to-lease solutions. Positioned within the well-established Guthrie Corridor, the project benefits from strong connectivity via the dedicated Lagong interchange, linking directly to major highways such as the North-South Expressway and LATAR, as well as proximity to key transport hubs including Kuang KTM, future ECRL stations, and Subang Airport.
Chief Operating Officer, Township Development of Sime Darby Property, Appollo Leong, highlighted that the launch reinforces the company’s vision of building integrated industrial ecosystems.
He noted that Elmina Business Park 2 is designed to support long-term business growth while promoting operational efficiency and workforce wellbeing, offering companies a strategic opportunity to secure freehold industrial land in a high-growth corridor.
Elmina Business Park, the Group’s flagship development, is recognised as the largest freehold industrial business park in the Klang Valley, spanning 1,500 acres. It features comprehensive infrastructure, including a proposed business support centre, staff accommodation, commercial hubs, and over 110 acres of parklands to enhance employee wellbeing. Its strong track record includes a full take-up of The Signature Collection Twin Factories and the establishment of Google’s first hyperscale data centre in the park, slated for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
With the launch of Elmina Business Park 2, Sime Darby Property continues to attract both local and multinational businesses, reinforcing its position as a leading developer of sustainable and future-ready industrial townships in Malaysia.
