The Islamic Development Department (Jakim) had initially rejected the showing of the concert in Plenary Hall, KLCC because the date coincides with Awal Muharram. Over 3,000 tickets have already been sold for the concert that is showcasing legendary Indian singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.
