Six students from SJKT Sungai Ara and SJKT Ladang Batu Kawan have made their schools and community proud by representing the country at the Road to Codeavour 7.0 International Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia. Dato Sundarajoo Somu expressed his pride on social media, praising the students for their achievements in representing our nation on an international stage.
Competing on the International Stage
The Road to Codeavour 7.0 International Level competition attracted 280 teams from 20 countries, including 16 teams from Malaysia. Among the Malaysian representatives, both teams from SJKT Sungai Ara and SJKT Ladang Batu Kawan put forth their best efforts.

In a proud moment for the school, SJKT Sungai Ara achieved an impressive result by securing the Fourth Consolation Prize.
The achievement is particularly significant as it demonstrates the ability of Tamil school students to compete successfully at an international level, standing alongside participants from some of the world’s leading educational institutions.

Ecobot Sorter: Innovation for a Sustainable Future
The SJKT Sungai Ara students presented an innovative project known as “Ecobot Sorter,” a smart waste management system designed to automatically sort different types of waste materials, including metal, paper, plastic, glass, biodegradable waste, and electronic waste.
Beyond showcasing technical skills in coding and robotics, the project also reflected the students’ commitment to environmental sustainability. By combining technology with practical environmental solutions, the young innovators demonstrated how STEM education can contribute to addressing real-world challenges.
