The long-standing land use issue concerning the Sri Muniswarar Sri Ukkira Kaliamman Temple has reached a positive resolution, marking a significant milestone for both the temple and its devotees.
Bagan Dalam MP Kumaran Krishnan announced on Facebook that after nearly 87 years, the temple has officially received approval to use its current site. This approval is expected to aid the temple’s administration and facilitate future planning in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations.
In his statement, Kumaran highlighted that this outcome resulted from cooperation, mutual understanding, and the collective efforts of all parties involved. He expressed gratitude to Southern Pipe for their cooperation, support, and commitment throughout the process, which was instrumental in achieving this successful resolution.
He also thanked everyone who contributed to making this positive outcome possible.
Kumaran noted that the resolution of this land issue will assist the temple committee in applying for government aid and will support redevelopment efforts.
He added that this positive development is anticipated to benefit the local community while further promoting mutual respect, understanding, and harmony within Malaysia’s multicultural society.
