Psychomantra has done us proud once again. His tune, Dhrogam has won Best Tamil Song at the annual Music Authors’ Copyright Protection Awards 2019 (Anugerah MACP) held yesterday.
The singer announced the win on his social media handles, thanking the people who worked on the song and the video with him. Dhrogam was released in 2017. The tune was composed by Psychomantra himself, along with Princeten Charles and Shane Xtreme. Psychomantra has also penned the lyrics for the tune.
Dhrogam has gone on to be one of the most popular Tamil songs released recently, raking in a whopping 6.3 million views on YouTube.
Born Krishna Kumar, Psychomantra has been in the Malaysian Tamil hip hop industry since 2007. He has his own studio, Vocagenie, which has produced numerous albums for local and international artistes.
