But what if we told you that Malaysia is going to witness a live show that is set to alter your reality, featuring the art of hypnosis? Insomnia Extended is coming to Kuala Lumpur for the first time, with British hypnotist Anthony Jacquin and Indian mentalist Aathi.
The event will be held on the 10th of January at the Shantanand Auditorium, Temple of Fine Arts, Kuala Lumpur. The show will begin at 8.00pm sharp.
Renowned Odissi performer Sandya Manoj is the curator and organizer of the event, with the sponsorship and support of XLNT Bio Fuels Sdn Bhd.
Anthony Jacquin is a member of Psycrets, the British Society of Mystery Entertainers. He routinely has performed across the globe and wowed his audiences with magic and hypnotic entertainment. “My presentation is fast, fun and is as informative as it is hilarious. You’ll remember it for years, whether you participate or just watch!” Anthony reveals.
Sandya met the mentalist Aathi in India three years ago, and she was immediately inspired to stage him in Kuala Lumpur. What is a mentalist, you may ask. In Aathi’s own words, “A mentalist is a person who can psychologically redirect human thoughts and behaviour. As a performing art form, it is a blend of psychology, suggestion/hypnosis, magic, as well as showmanship,”
