More students have scored straight As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2019 examinations than the year before.

Of the 389,498 students who sat for the examinations, 8,876 candidates scored A+, A and A- in all subjects, education director-general Dr Habibah Abdul Rahim said. “This is an improvement of 0.13%,” she at a press conference when announcing the SPM 2019 result analysis earlier today.

The National Average Grade (GPN) improved, with a score of 4.86 compared to 4.89 in SPM 2018.
