Nac Ann is fondly known as a successful businesswoman who has been peddling her entrepreneurial skills by managing Silk Thread Ethnic Jewellery And Bangles on social media platforms despite her physical constraints.
What makes us even more proud of her ?
Nac, who was born with poliomyelitis (childhood polio) has earned many accolades for her story of perseverance and success in pursuing her passion. This time around, the young lass went up to the stage to receive the Small Medium Indian Business Award 2021 (SIMBA Award).
With time and a lot of soul-searching, Ann started her handmade Ann collections business which took off via her official Facebook page. Many ups and downs occurred as obstacles in the process of launching her online business, but she was adamant at leading her own life by following her passion and dreams.
Aren’t we super proud of this dedicated woman?
Talking about Poliomyelitis (childhood polio), it is classified as a highly infectious viral disease that largely affects children under 5 years of age. Most people who get infected with poliovirus (about 72 out of 100) will not have any visible symptoms.
It’s true that someone with a disability takes a lot of strength to overcome all the additional hardships that they have and continue to encounter in their lives.
However, the wheelchair-bound woman doesn’t think of her disability as something that stops her from fulfilling her dreams.
It takes a very special kind of soul to harness the strength to reach the pinnacle. Nac Ann is an inspiration to many of us and there’s absolutely nothing that is going to stop this woman to achieve more in her life.
Wishing you the best for your future endeavours, Nac!
