Sai Pallavi Shatters Dhanush’s 7-Year-Long Youtube Record

Sai Pallavi has been making some serious waves in Kollywood, Mollywood and Tollywood with impressive roles and killer dance moves. Next stop: Youtube Domination!

For over 7 years, Dhanush’s ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ from the film ‘3’ has been the most viewed song from South India on Youtube with over 172,857,100 views and growing.

That’s only till Sai Pallavi came sliding into the scene with her dance moves for the song Vachinde from her Telugu debut film Fidaa. Fidaa, starring Sai Pallavi and Varun Tej, was directed by Sekhar Kammula and was one of the biggest hits in 2017.

With over 174 million views, Vachinde has become the most viewed South Indian song on YouTube, dethroning music composer Anirudh’s ‘Why This Kolaveri Di?’ after 7 years.
