With over 22K followers in Instagram, Nana’s Pani Puri is undoubtedly a Malaysian growing business that been making waves all over in Malaysia and also Singapore.
Having said that, Dr. Nandana, the Founder of Nana’s Pani Puri along with her team have been bestowed with the title of “Most Panipuri Sold In An Event” by the highly coveted Malaysian Book of Records recently.
From gaining such prestigious recognition, Nana’s Pani Puri becomes the FIRST food enterprise to make such a great attempt.
A great milestone indeed!
Dr. Nandana has stated that a total number of 51,380 Panipuri had sold out at the event namely, Pondy Bazaar 2.0 which took place from 1st till 3rd of July 2022 at Bukit Kota Kemuning Convention Centre, Shah Alam. The ultimate record was achieved on the last day of the event (3rd July) in the presence of the audience and also organisers.
Well, the amount has shocked the writer as well as the audience. Armed with a great team, grit, and determination, they are really good at adapting to the customers’ preferences at the point of setting a record under MBR.
It wasn’t a walk in the park for the lady boss to achieve this MBR – she was travelling up and down for other event spaces and rushed back to Shah Alam to accomplish her mission on the last day. – Dr. Nandana
Established in May 2020, Nana’s Pani Puri is purely based on homemade products such as crunchy munchy cookies, masala tea powder, masala mix powder, and many more which might just leave you spoilt for choices.
“It’s been a dream for a long while to achieve the ‘Malaysian Book of Records’ title. It involved a lot of patience, dedication and hardwork. We were thrilled to receive the accolade at the end of the event.”
Aside from holding an amazing record title, her journey with hook and wool started amid the pandemic. The idea of juggling a full-time career with a start-up business is absolutely daunting. But Nana has proved that it shouldn’t deter you right away. Her constant sheer diligent efforts have motivated young lasses out there who not only excel in her field but are also set to empower other women who deal with self-doubt. It came to the writer’s surprise as to date there are a total number of 53 agents who dare to achieve and keep striving for the well-good of Nana’s Pani Puri.
