Tamil Language Society of University Malaya is Calling Writers To Join A Anthology Short Story Competition

Everyone who enjoys writing, please heed this appeal!

In 2019, Persatuan Bahasa Tamil University Malaya (PBTUM) successfully earned a national record for having the Most Number of Short Stories Published (Tamil) in a total of 640 short stories.

To prevail this record, the Tamil Language Society of University Malaya will be conducting Anthology Short Story competition aptly titled “Peravai Kathaigal” for local and international writers. Furthermore, the goal of this competition is to encourage writers from various backgrounds to develop their expertise in Tamil literature.

The 36th Peravai Kathaigal competition will be having three categories: (Student category aged 16 to 25), (Local Category) and (International Category)

The winners will be bestowed with some exciting prizes!

To those who are keen to participate in this competition, you may click HERE or scan the QR in the poster to get yourself registered via Google Form.

The deadline for writers to submit short stories is on 10th October 2022.
