Not every individual is willing to volunteer their time and effort for the community, but we are witnessing an increasing number of youngsters being engaged in countless good deeds on a daily basis.

With that being said, Khuswindera Singh Tara Singh who has been selected for Youth IPC 2022, had a great opportunity to be the delegate from our country representing Malaysia to The Imagine Peace Camp (IPC) 2022 which was held at PyeongChang, Republic of Korea.

The Imagine Peace Youth Camp (IPYC) is a week-long educational programme, organized in 2014 by the International Olympic Truce Centre and the British Council, in partnership with Save the Dream and New York College and with the cooperation of the Hellenic Olympic Champions Association that aims the promotion of Olympic Values such as Respect, Excellence and Friendship through the participants’ engagement in interactive workshops and sports activities.

Khuswindera excitedly mentioned that being a part of this is a big privilege and it’s such an incredible moment for him. The proud Malaysian thanked some of the pillars who made this feasible:

“It would be impossible for me without the help and support from the Government of Malaysia and APPGM-SDG Youth Agent,” and also thanked his university, Advanced Technology Training Center ADTEC Taiping and the Secretariat IPC 2022.

Furthermore, he conveyed his utmost gratitude to PyeongChang 2018 Legacy Foundation and International Olympic Truce Center for providing him with this golden opportunity.

This is just the beginning of my struggle to be devoted to Youth with the aims of Respect, Excellence and Friendship. May my efforts gain God’s blessing and pleasure always – Khuswindera

Prior to this, he represented Malaysia as a delegate for the Global Youth Leadership Summit (GYLS) 2022 in Thailand where this young activist was bestowed with the “Emerging Leader Award 2022” for his notable deeds.

Known as an active volunteer and youth trainer at the Perak Youth Assemblyman Menglembu constituency, Khuswindera has been actively delivering food aid and other necessary duties for those in need till today.

Khuswindera is one of the best role models for young people who can look up to.

Kudos, Khuswindera…Keep up the excellent work!
