Mrs Malaysia World pageant returned with a bang after a two-year hiatus looking for a new heir to don their coveted crown, has finally found their NEW QUEEN.

On 29th October 2022, Lawyer Olivia Nicholas was crowned as the Mrs Malaysia World 2022 at the extravagant pageant event which was held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The 30-year-old beat 35 participants from all parts of the country to win the title.

Last year’s winner, Priyaa Simmi, passed on the crown worth RM88,000 sponsored by Jonathan Yun Sculptural Jewelry which took 200 hours to complete to Olivia Nicholas. The mother of one took home RM10,000 cash prize from Mrs Malaysia World Sdn Bhd.

Hailing from Ipoh, Olivia will be representing Malaysia at the next Mrs World pageant in Las Vegas which will be taking place next year.

Newly crowned Mrs World Malaysia 2022 is excited to represent Malaysia on the renowned world stage.

“Mrs Malaysia World lifts the married woman from the humdrum to the exciting world of glamour, social upliftment and the means to touch the lives of many outside her own family that once seemed to be the province of the single girl, ” Olivia said.

“Having the opportunity and the exposure that this pageant brings cannot be compared to anything else that a married woman can possibly experience. Thank you to the organization that has brought this competition to Malaysia and in particular to the incomparable Datin Harveen Kaur who was instrumental in the entire success of this institution,” she expressed.

The winner recommends the experience of this journey to all Malaysian married ladies, “We never know how high you can reach unless you actually try,” Olivia said.

The 1st runner-up goes to Dr Shalini Devi, followed by the 2nd runner-up, Dr Vaisnavi Kumarasamy and 3rd runner-up, Selvinder Kaur. Additionally, Tharsyani Vijaya Kumar had been chosen as Mrs Malaysia World ambassador.

Datin Harveen Kaur, the national pageant director emphasised that Mrs Malaysia World is a symbol of opportunity, power, reward, progressiveness, empowerment and innovation. Mrs Malaysia World started with a vision to empower women in achieving financial freedom. Financial freedom is a form of personal empowerment and today it is important for women to support themselves financially without assistance.

The pageant empowers women from all walks of life and motivates them to think big and manifest their goals.

Let’s all wish the best of luck to our new Mrs Malaysia World, who is all set to slay Mrs World 2023 pageantry in Las Vegas next year.
