Looks like Vijay Sethupathi isn’t the only actor carrying out the role of a transgender woman. Bharath’s long delayed film, Pottu, will feature the actor in a similar role.
Pottu, a ‘medically based horror film’, will release on the 8th of March. The film will be headlined by Bharath, Iniya, Srushti Dange, Rajendran and Namitha.
Pottu is a Vadivudaiyan directorial and was announced way back in 2015. The filming only began in 2016 in Kollumalai and in Chennai. Post production was completed by early 2017. According to a statement released by the producers, the makers were forced to postpone the release due to the lack of availability of screens. It is not known what real reason for the two year delay really is.
