Dr Nagulendran has unlocked another level in his career.
On 2nd February 2023, YBRS Dr Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu has been announced as the new Youth and Sports Ministry Secretary General by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Zuki Ali, the Chief Government Secretary.
Mohd Zuki emphasized Dr Nagulendran’s appointment was based on qualifications, leadership qualities and his vast experience, as well as his knowledge in the advancement of future generations.
Dr Nagulendran has served as the Deputy Secretary General (Planning and Science Culture) of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry previously to his current position.
Speaking more about Nagulendran’s appointment, Mohd Zuki said “I believe that with the experience and credibility he possessed, he will be able to lead the Youth and Sports Ministry and carry out his responsibilities with integrity and professionalism in fulfilling the Malaysia Madani aspirations and developing patriotic, united, disciplined and sports-oriented youth that contribute to the unity and development of the nation.”
53-year-old Nagulendran has 28 years of public service experience, beginning as a diplomatic administrative officer in 1995 and throughout his career has served in various porfolios such as human resource, strategic policy and technology planning at the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry.
Sharing the happiness, Olympic Council of Malaysia also congratulates Dr Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu.
