Taking upon to her social media, Dr Malar have penned a heartfelt gratitude note:

The mother of two said “Today, I was blessed to receive the Exemplary Employee Award from YAB PMX Dato Seri @anwaribrahim_my in conjunction with the 2023 Labor Day Celebration at the national level,”

“Like all of you.. I also wondered.. Why me? Am I eligible? What are the criteria for this award?”

“The explanation given to me is…

This award was given to me because of the doctor’s service provided not only in the workplace, but also taking on the responsibility and ethics of a doctor outside of working hours, by carrying out the duties of a doctor anywhere, at any time. In other words, while working full time when the covid-19 pandemic happened, I also spent my free time to reach out to the public as a doctor on social media, which at the same time met the criteria of the Exemplary Employee Award,” Dr Malar emphasized.

She also thanked her husband and her mentors for being great pillars of support and for showing the right guidance. Also, she conveyed her gratitude to her family members, friends, and all of her devoted followers. “Without you, there is no chatter, Dr. Malar”.

This exemplary woman dedicates this award to all health workers who have been struggling on the battlefield since the pandemic until now. “May this recognition be the beginning of many more. Chaiyookkk”.

“I am aware of this, the responsibility on my shoulders is getting heavier. However, I promise I will do my best, better, as long as I can.” the doctor pledged.
