Lokesh Kanagaraj has revealed that the veteran actor Vaiyapuri will be joining the Leo team as a comedian. This will be a reunion movie for both Thalapathy Vijay and Vaiyapuri, who haven’t starred in a film together for several years now. The pair had worked together for the first time in the 1997 film Love Today, and they have continued to work together on superhits like Thullatha Manamum Thullum, Priyamanavale Thirupaachi, Sachin, Sivakasi, and Pokkiri .
A recent picture of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vaiyapuri has made a sensation among fans on the internet. The ensemble cast already has many talented faces, such as Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Joju George, Kathir, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Matthew Thomas, among others. To add Vaiyapuri to this superb ensemble would just drive up the anticipation among fans. Lokesh Kanagaraj has also announced that a super big surprise, along with the title track Naa Ready, is awaiting fans on June 22. The film itself is set to be released on October 19th.
The veteran actor, after a long hiatus, came back to public life after participating in Kamal Hassan’s Big Boss reality TV show. The talented actor had also starred in Samuthirakanni’s critically acclaimed Thalaikoothal, which placed him in a pivotal role that showed the depth of his performing skills. Fans of his work are eagerly waiting for his role in this Thalapathy Vijay film.
