The planned closure of Jalan Sungai Besi near the Loke Yew roundabout scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed, according to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

Road users can proceed with their regular travel on this route, said DBKL in a statement today.

“The road closure scheduled to start on August 5, 2023 until August 4,
2024 has been cancelled,” the announcement from DBKL to the media on August 1, 2023 stated.

“The road closure scheduled to start on August 5, 2023 until August 4, 2024 has been cancelled, “the statement read by DBKL earlier today. However, DBKL did not specify the length of the delay.

DBKL had said that the road will be blocked to allow for restoration and bridge building projects at the Loke Yew junction.
