The much-anticipated Thalapathy 68 film has just received exciting new updates. The film is an exhilarating collaboration between director Venkat Prabhu and actor Vijay. This combo has many fans extremely enthusiastic to witness their creative output. Venkat Prabhu’s father, the acclaimed music composer and director Gangai Amaran, has expressed some of his interesting opinions on the film.
Gangai Amaran has expressed that he felt incredibly surprised and shocked when he learned details about the film. He stated that Vijay will be playing a never-before-seen character in the actor’s career. Venkat Prabhu has also recently stated that Thalapathy 68 will not be a political film, leaving some to believe it will be a more fun-filled and entertaining film by the director.
The film’s score will be composed by none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja himself. The music director has worked with Venkat Prabhu on many of his past films, like Chennai 600028, Saroja, and many more. Yuvan had previously composed music for Vijay for the film Puthiya Geethai. This will be the first time in many years that the two will collaborate with one another.
For Vijay, his upcoming film titled Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be released on October 19, 2023. The film is scored by Anirudh and has a stellar cast of Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Gautham Menon, Action King Arjun, and many more.
