Nithya Menen has recently shared that she had an absolute breeze working with the famous Vijay in the 2017 hit film, Mersal. Directed by Atlee, who recently made his Bollywood debut with the massively successful Jawan, the film Mersal starred Vijay and Nitya as a romantic pair.
Nithya had expressed that, although Vijay was a massive star, she felt completely at ease working with him. She mentions that her role in Mersal was one that she wouldn’t typically choose to portray, but since the story was earnest, she agreed to do the film.
The talented actress’s most recent Tamil film was the blockbuster hit Thiruchitrambalam. Many were incredibly smitten by the natural and fantastic performance of Nithya, which was both beautifully and heartfeltly portrayed on screen.
The film saw the amazingly captivating performances of Dhanush and Nithya, who go from being the best of friends to romantic partners. The film was praised for its wholesome script and cast, which consisted of the hugely talented Prakash Raj and veteran director Bharathiraja.
