Jigarthanda DoubleX is a sequel to the hit film Jigarthanda, which originally starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha in pivotal roles. The film was appreciated for its unique and fresh setting. It is one of the films that further made a name for Karthik Subbaraj as a pioneering young director in Kollywood. The sequel, Jigarthanda DoubleX, is a story heavily influenced by the Western genre and the landscape of Madurai.
Santosh Narayan is an award-winning music composer who has composed music for many of Karthik Subbaraj’s films, like Pizza, Jigarthanda, Iraivi, and Petta.
The film is set to be released worldwide on Diwali, with the stellar cast of both SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in pivotal roles. The film also has actors such as Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Sathyan, Aravind Akash, Ilavarasu, and Bava Chelladurai.
