Vasanth Ravi, who recently acted in the super hit Rajinikanth film Jailer, has just completed shooting for his upcoming film with director Sabarish Nanda. The young actor will be acting along with Sunil, Mehreen Pirzada, Anikha Surendran, and Kalyan Master. The film’s score will be composed by Ajmal Tahseen.
The actor had recently played the role of Rajinikanth’s son in the film Jailer, which was directed by Nelson. The film has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films internationally. Jailer has been praised for delivering a power-packed, entertaining movie that brought back the charisma and charm of Rajinikanth.
Vasanth Ravi’s most critical role, however, is his portrayal of the character of Prabhu in Director Raam’s Taramani. The film follows a complicated unravelling of love, globalisation, and the complexities of gender in our capitalist society. Vasanth had received the award for Best Debut Actor from the Vijay Awards for his performance in this film.
