The Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA) has consistently undertaken a series of pivotal initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering the Malaysian Indian community. Through a steadfast commitment to community development, MITRA has been instrumental in organizing a diverse range of fundamental programs and training sessions. These initiatives are designed to address the specific needs and challenges faced by the Malaysian Indian community, fostering holistic growth and progress. In that case, MITRA is organising a digital marketing skills improvement programme at Sungai Petani, Kedah.

In today’s modern era, digital marketing plays a crucial role as everything transitions to the digital realm. The digital platform has become the go-to space for individuals and businesses alike to market their products and services. Consequently, the field of digital marketing is experiencing significant growth. Entrepreneurs equipped with proficient digital marketing skills have the opportunity to propel and promote their businesses successfully.

Moreover, individuals possessing adept digital marketing skills find it easier to secure employment, given the pervasive shift of various industries into the digital domain. The increasing prevalence of the digital landscape makes proficiency in digital marketing an invaluable asset for career growth and professional success. The initiative undertaken by MITRA to impart digital marketing skills is indeed a commendable opportunity for individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge in this field. Engaging with this initiative will offer a valuable chance to acquire and master the skills essential for effective digital marketing.

This training opportunity is tailored for individuals belonging to the Malaysian Indian community within the B40 and M40 income strata. The eligibility criteria encompass individuals aged 20 and above, making it inclusive to a broad range of participants. The selection process is designed to favor the initial 75 individuals who meet the specific requirements. The training program spans a duration of 8 days, with an equal division of 4 days allocated for physical sessions and 4 days for online sessions. Physical training sessions are scheduled to be held at No. 21, Tingkat 1, Jalan Tuanku Haminah 1, Taman Tuanku Haminah, 08000 Sungai Petani, Kedah. Food and beverages will be provided to all participants, and each participant will receive a free tablet as part of the program.
