Mishra is seeded for the semifinals along with other Golden Buzzer competitors from AGT Season 19, including Richard Goodall and Liv Warfield. She will fight for the $1 million (Rs 8,34,80,500) main prize against gifted musicians including 10-year-old heavy metal guitarist Maya Neelakantan.
Mishra is a skilled and dynamic singer who can deliver songs in a variety of genres, particularly pop and soul. She performs everything from the national anthem to Demi Lovato’s Skyscraper, Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On, Sia’s Chandelier, and Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.Mishra revealed that she enjoys singing songs in high pitches and that her favorite song is Listen by Beyoncé when the hosts of Great Day Live in Tampa 2023 asked her about her favorite things about being a singer. During her America’s Got Talent audition, Mishra revealed to the judges that she finds inspiration from the likes of Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and Aretha Franklin. She performed Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way” at the Apollo Broadway Theater in New York City in October 2022. Given her admiration for these singers, she might select the same song for the semifinals or potentially the finals, should she advance.
With a vast collection of songs already performed, Mishra faces a diverse array of performances for her upcoming appearance on AGT. Auditions will pause for two weeks starting the week of July 23 due to NBC’s coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics from July 26 to August 11.
