Astro is delighted to invite all football enthusiasts and loyal customers to participate in the Astro X Pasanga Penalty Kick Tournament. Scheduled for 3 August 2024 at Andalas Sport Complex, Klang, this exciting event promises a day filled with fun, competition, and community spirit.
As a token of appreciation to its valued customers, Astro is organizing this tournament under its ongoing initiative to connect with the community through sports and entertainment. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their football skills and compete for attractive cash prizes totaling RM10,000 along with prestigious medals.
To join the tournament, interested contestants are required to sign up through the Rewards section on the ‘My Astro’ app. Registration is open from now until 31 July 2024, 11.59pm. Participants can simply click on ‘Redeem Now’ within the app, fill in their details, acknowledge the Terms and Conditions, and submit their application to secure a spot.
The tournament will feature 32 shortlisted teams, each comprised of 4 to 5 members, who will battle it out in thrilling penalty shootouts. The winning teams will be awarded as follows:
- 1st Place: RM5,000 with Medal
- 2nd Place: RM2,500 with Medal
- 3rd Place: RM1,500 with Medal
- 4th Place: RM1,000 with Medal
In addition to the competitive football action, participants and spectators alike will have the chance to meet popular local talents from the hit Tamil series ‘Pasanga’ Season 2, including former Malaysian footballer Safee Sali, and other renowned local celebrities such as Rueben, Haiqal Hairuddinz, Jack, Jaspers, and Tomato.
