Khatija Rahman, known for her playback singing in movies such as ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II’, ‘Iravin Nizhal’, and ‘Mimi’, made her debut as a playback singer in ‘Robot’. Her sister, Allah Rakha Ameen, is also a playback singer.

Reflecting on her journey into music composition, Khatija Rahman shared that her father found her first composition, ‘Iruperum’, “refreshing and calming”. She expressed gratitude for his encouragement to find her unique voice, emphasizing her determination to establish herself independently before seeking public recognition or comparisons.

Despite AR Rahman’s absence at the event, Khatija Rahman remains undeterred, focusing on proving herself through her work rather than addressing criticism or comparisons prematurely.
