Ashiwin, Jevin & Joshua Make the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia!

Recently, Forbes published their highly anticipated Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2020. Here are three of the 14 Malaysians who made the list.

Ashiwin Vadiveloo

Ashiwin Vadiveloo is a postdoctoral research fellow at Murdoch University in Australia. The 29 year old is on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia under the healthcare & science sector. He focuses on combining micro algae and macro algae cultivation for the sustainable production of both chemical and electrical energy from a single system. In 2015, he received MASCA-EMA Award for excellence in the Field of Life Sciences & Health Care. He also won the Gold Medal for the Bioinnovation Award.

Jevin Singh

This 26 year old is now a CEO of promising coffee and community-related start-up, RAGE Coffee, along with his partner Mohamed Afzal. They now have 12 outlets in Malaysia, from which customers can pre-order coffee for pickup or request a delivery. Jevin and Afzal are on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia under the retail & e-commerce sector.

Joshua Smith

Joshua is the co-founder and CTO of MyPay. The 29 year old began his career in Citibank Malaysia as Management Engineer before moving on to Accenture. He was the Chief Data Officer at The Lorry before starting up MyPay. Joshua is on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia under the field of finance & venture capital.
