“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our father, who was a devoted parent and grandfather to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was truly our hero. After our mother, Kalayanee, passed away 16 years ago, he continued to look after us with unwavering dedication. I am immensely thankful for the upbringing both my parents provided, as it has led all of us siblings—and even the grandchildren and great-grandchildren—to thrive in our careers. His presence will be sorely missed,” he told Bernama.
Sudhagaran described his father as a lively and healthy individual, even as he approached the age of 100. He shared that despite his advanced years, his father’s memory remained sharp and reliable at 97.
