The exclusive event took place on 26 April 2025 at Brickfields Asia College (BAC) in Petaling Jaya, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the renowned Indian playback singer’s powerful performances in an intimate setting. This initiative reflects Astro’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional and memorable experiences for its audience, celebrating music, culture, and connection.
More than 300 enthusiastic fans of the legendary Indian playback singer Anuradha Sriram — including Astro customers, corporate clients, media representatives, and employees — were privileged to experience an unforgettable evening of her mesmerizing music. Hosted by RAAGA’s very own Ahila, the event offered an authentic and intimate setting where attendees had the rare opportunity to engage directly with the versatile artist through interactive Q&A sessions, adding a personal and memorable touch to an already extraordinary musical experience.
The musical evening began with an energetic opening performance by Anuradha Sriram herself, featuring her hit song Malarodu Malaringu from the film Bombay. The night continued to captivate the audience as she delivered powerful renditions of some of her most beloved tracks, including Karu Karu Karupayi (Eazhaiyin Sirippil), O Podu (Gemini), Oru Naal Oru Kanavu (Kannukkul Nilavu), Karupputhan Enakku Pidicha Colouru (Vetri Kodi Kattu), Lesa Lesa (Lesa Lesa), and Anbendra Mazhaiyilae (Minsara Kanavu), among others. Adding to the night’s enchantment, celebrated local talents Michael Rao, Thivya Chandran, and Murty also took to the stage, impressing the crowd with soulful performances of 2000s classics like Roja Poonthotam (Kannukkul Nilavu), Kaattu Sirukki (Raavanan), and Uyire En Uyire (Thotti Jaya).
