Astro, Malaysia’s premier content and entertainment provider has renewed it’s long standing partnership with global sports broadcaster beIN SPORTS, extending their collaboration until August 2027. This continued alliance ensures that sports fans across the country will have uninterrupted access to some of the world’s biggest sporting events through Astro’s Sports Pack and the beIN SPORTS CONNECT app.

The extended agreement secures Astro customers access to an impressive roster of international sporting content, including Formula 1, the UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Australian Open, Roland-Garros, and the ATP Tour. All matches and tournaments will be available both live and on-demand through beIN SPORTS channels and the beIN SPORTS CONNECT streaming platform.

Elevating the Sports Viewing Experience

Euan Smith, Group Chief Executive Officer of Astro, expressed his enthusiasm over the renewed partnership. “Together with beIN SPORTS, we’re proud to continue bringing premium coverage of the most anticipated international tournaments and leagues to Astro customers. This collaboration is key to fulfilling our promise of delivering the world’s biggest sports events to Malaysian fans. With a growing appetite for sports content amongst our customers, this renewal strengthens Astro’s position as the Home of Sports in Malaysia. Our partnership goes beyond simply broadcasting to creating unforgettable, money-can’t-buy experiences. These exclusive opportunities, often tailored for our loyal Astro customers, are unique engagement activities that further enrich their passion for the game.”

Mile Kerr, Managing Director of beIN Asia Pacific, echoed similar sentiments, “We are proud to extend our decade-long partnership with Astro, built on a shared vision to bring some of the world’s most exciting sports closer to Malaysian fans across all screens. Over the years, we’ve not only delivered premium live coverage but also partnered with Astro to create unforgettable experiences that deepen fan engagement. As we continue this collaboration, we remain committed to celebrating fandom and strengthening our connection with Malaysia’s vibrant sports community.”

The renewed partnership aims to continue this tradition of unforgettable sporting highlights across football, tennis, motorsports, and more.

Unmatched Access and Flexibility for Malaysian Viewers

The partnership renewal further solidifies Astro’s role as Malaysia’s ultimate destination for sports entertainment while sporting beIN SPORTS strategic growth in the Asian region. Astro customers with the Sports Pack can enjoy all beIN SPORTS content via their TV or stream seamlessly anytime, anywhere using Astro GO or the beIN SPORTS CONNECT app.
