Director Venkat Prabhu has confirmed that his upcoming project with Sivakarthikeyan will be a ‘fun film’ appealing to audiences of all ages. Speaking at a recent award show, the filmmaker revealed that the script has been completed, with Sivakarthikeyan expressing his satisfaction with how it has turned out.
According to Venkat Prabhu, the movie will feature Sivakarthikeyan in a character unlike any he has played before. This collaboration marks the actor’s first full-fledged role under the director’s banner, following his cameo in the climax of Venkat Prabhu’s recent film ‘The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)’ starring Thalapathy Vijay.

Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Amaran, a biopic on the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, chronicling his service in the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.
The actor’s busy slate includes AR Murugadoss’s ‘Madharasi’ set for release on 5th September, and Sudha Kongara’s ‘Parasakthi’ slated for Ponggal 2026. Parasakthi boast a star-studded cast featuring Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa Murali in key roles.

Production for the Venkat Prabhu and Sivakarthikeyan project is expected to begin later this year.
