Fans of heartfelt Tamil drama have reason to celebrate as Astro brings back its acclaimed romance series Magarantham for a brand-new season. Season 2 premiered on 1st September at 9PM on Astro Vinmeen (Channel 202), with episodes airing every Monday to Thursday. Viewers can also catch the series via Astro GO, On Demand, and sooka.
This new chapter delves deeper into the turbulent yet tender journey of Madhan and Susheela, as they confront the complexities of marriage, love and forgiveness. Years after separation, Madhan stumbles upon Susheela with her former husband Chandru and a young girl, Yazhini. Suspicion brews when Susheela appears emotionally distant, but Mathan begins to bond with Yazhini, hopeful of bridging broken ties.

The plot intensifies when Chandru, afraid of losing Yazhini’s affection, kidnaps her, forcing Madhan and Susheela to confront their past in a desperate bid to save their daughter. In the process, their shared struggles spark the rekindling of love and the possibility of healing fracture family bonds.
Directed by Tinesh Sarathi Krishnan, Magarantham Season 2 features a talented ensemble cast including Bala Ganapathi William, Chandhine Kaur, Thasha Krishnakumar, James Devan Arokisamy, and more.
A Fresh Addition: Sunday Magazine Show ‘Sanjigai’
