He highlighted that this program is part of a commitment by the Penang State Government through the Special Committee for Tamil Schools to enhance infrastructure and create a more comfortable environment for students.

The total budget for the furniture amounts to RM 345,486, which will cover 2,433 desks and chairs. The distribution will occur in stages, with 500 desks and chairs allocated to Tamil primary schools in the Northwest and Southwest districts during the first phase. This allocation was determined based on the number of students registered for the year 2026.
