In a significant milestone, five Tamil vernacular schools (SJKT) in Selangor have received the official land grants and related documents. This marks the completion of long-standing issues involving incomplete land ownership records.

The announcement was made by Papparaidu Veeraman, MP of Selangor State Government, who shared that the documents were officially handed over to five schools:
- SJK(T) Ladang Vallambrosa in Kapar, Klang
- SJK(T) Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi in Sepang
- SJK(T) Ladang Coalfields in Sungai Buloh
- SJK(T) Ladang Highland in Klang
- SJK(T) Sungai Buaya in Banting

According Papparaidu, the achievement was the result of continuous efforts by the Selangor Special Implementation Committee for Tamil Schools to resolve issues involving land ownership and documentation, ensuring that schools have proper records of their land status.
With the completion of the documentation process, the schools will be able to manage administrative matters more effectively while having certainty for future development plans, including infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects.

Papparaidu Veeraman highlighted that the handover of the documents was not merely an administrative requirement but also reflected the Selangor government’s commitment towards strengthening Tamil education institutions through transparent, systematic and accountable management.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Selangor State Education Department, Selangor Land and Mines Department, District Land Offices, school authorities, School Management Boards (LPS), Parent-Teacher Associations (PIBG) and all parties involved in ensuring the successful completion of the initiative.
The move is expected to pave the way for further development of Tamil schools in Selangor by ensuring every institution has valid, complete and secure land records for the benefit of future generations.
