With the government’s restrictions on dining-in lifted and restaurant hours extended, now is the ideal time to replenish our taste buds with some authentic South Indian cuisine. More than anything, I believe briyani will be the only food that will satisfy our cravings.

I mean, of all Indian cuisines, I honestly believe briyani is the only one that unites tastes and people. With its killer aroma, the burst of flavouring, ranging from north Indian to south Indian style, melts our hearts and makes our mouths water.

Without further ado, let’s see where you can get an authentic taste of briyani in KL, PJ and Bangsar.

The welcoming facet of all five of these eateries is that they serve a very diverse range of biryani, from the trendy ‘Bamboo briyani’ to the distinctively classic ‘Hyderabadi biryani’. So you get to pick which briyani-vibe you want to initiate your taste buds with. But one thing is certain: with all of these tantalising options, you will undoubtedly be ‘Briyanified’.

On that note, what is your favourite briyani style? Feel free to comment in the comments section below!
