The nationwide search for the Ultimate Star 2022 has come to an end by announcing the winner!
Following stiff competition between nine finalists, Vikneswari Subramaniam becomes the champion of Ultimate Star Search 2022 during the grand finale which was held at Agenda Suria Shopping Carnival, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
Taking home a RM10,000 cash prize, Vikneswari also will be starting her career as a TV or radio host.
Vikneswari who felt blessed and humbled upon this big win said, “I’m still in a surreal state as I didn’t expect this victory as all my fellow contestants were very talented. I think more responsibility has been added to my shoulders with this win and I will give it my best shot to do justice to this success. I am very grateful to Astro, RAAGA, U Mobile and ASC Agenda Suria Communication for this golden opportunity,”
Sharing about her role model she expressed “I look up to everyone in this industry as my role models including talented local hosts and artists. As a beginner, I have a lot of things to learn from each and everyone,”
The 26-year-old then said as a newcomer to this industry, she’s looking forward to enhancing her hosting skills. Because she thinks it is very important to know more about media and how it works. “I will surely work on every aspect to give my best in all my future endeavours,” she continued.
The passionate lass emphasised that this victory will be not possible without her fans. “I would like to thank each and everyone one of them. Since the first day, there were so many wishes posted on social media. The love and support I received from people have been simply incredible. Thank you very much, I will strive harder to entertain everyone and will do justice to their support and love.” she wrapped.
